Faraway, So Close by skyblue_reverie (Pike/McCoy, NC-17, 12,000~)
Summary: In the aftermath of a classified mission, Leonard has to pick up all of Chris's broken pieces.
Notes: The best hurt/comfort keeps you on tenterhooks, wondering if things really will get better. It should leave you aching for everyone involved, yet happy that you read it. No simple solutions or sitcom happy endings, but a catharsis that makes your entire body sigh in pleasure. Skyblue Reverie has written exactly that type of h/c. Her characters have so much depth you want to explore them further than the story takes you. Excellent execution of a difficult premise.
